Lentera Anak Coordinating Ministry for Maritime and Investment Affairs and the Ministry of Education and Culture to support the Clean Indonesia Movement which aims to reduce waste by 30% and 70% in waste management in year 2025. Given Indonesia's demographic composition with the younger generation accounting for more than 41% of Indonesia's total population, building awareness and behavior of the millennial generation through habituation in schools will contribute significantly to efforts to reduce waste.

It’s great to meet new friends who feel like family. Even though it was 3 years ago, I really miss the times with other PE friends. I gain more knowledge on a healthy lifestyle that has been explained and enjoy being able to apply it in everyday life and being able to guide others in a number of ways. Hopefully in the future Lantern Anak can be known by more people and can expand its reach. |

#TolakJadiTarget is a movement initiated by 5,000 students from 90 schools in 5 cities to refuse to be targeted by the tobacco industry.
The tobacco industry is very aggressive in targeting children by placing cigarette advertisements around schools. 85% of schools are surrounded by various kinds of cigarette advertisements. The goal is to turn young people into substitute smokers. Cigarette advertisements around schools were successfully removed by 150 banners This campaign and investigation were adopted in 40 countries around the world. In each country investigated, investigators found easy access to cigarettes from street vendors, retailers, peddlers, or kiosks located in the vicinity of primary and secondary schools. |
