At Glance

  • Government of Indonesia’s Program to encourage Regencies/Cities to include mainstreaming child fulfillment and protection in the development system
  • CFC has currently been implemented in 347 districts/cities
  • CFC is a very attractive policy for regional leaders

 


 

Our Strategy

  • Provide input and recommendations to KPPPA for strengthening indicator 17: Smoke-Free Zone and TAPS Ban Prohibition
  • Organizing training to increase capacity for fulfilling CFC indicators
  • Provide technical guidance to local government for the fulfillment of indicators
  • Encouraging district/city commitments to fulfill CFC indicators

 


 

Why focus on Child Friendly City?

 

  • Evidence that children's voices are heard is their involvement in the development system by providing input and recommendations in the interests of children.
  • There are still many local governments who think that children's voices are not that important.
  • Children are the subject of development, not the object of development.
